ARTIST STATEMENT

Hi! My name is Kiki and am currently a junior here at West. I partake in marching band and I am the head of costumes for the theater department here at West. I enjoy creating art in my free time because it gives me something to do when I need to wind down. I found out about this class through one of my friends who took this last year, and after that, I got hooked and I can't wait to keep taking photos. Most of my photos consist of something I'm doing in the moment, like when I'm out with friends, or on a walk, I like to get my family involved as well. My photos usually end up different than expected, which is nice to see every once in a while.
